Daylight Savings Time....Any problems so far? I have to say I didn't even notice the change. I'm one of the lucky ones that can just reset my internal clock with no problem. I don't use an alarm clock to get up because I can just tell myself when I go to bed that I want to wake up at a certain time and for some reason it works. My eyes just pop open at the designated time and I just go from there. The time change plays no factor into the setting of my internal clock. So, I was up and ready for work this morning same time as usual.
Now, the falling back gives me a little trouble. My internal clock doesn't shift backwards as easily. My normal work day ends at 4:00 p.m. but when we fall back my internal clock says it's time to shut down at 3:00. In usually takes me a about a week to make that adjustment.
I was fascinated by the reason the government extended Daylight Savings Time to the 2nd Sunday in March. They hoped it would have a positive impact on voter turnout and to help cut down on trick-or treating pedestrian accidents. Now they haven't gathered enough data on the voter turnout yet to see if it does indeed increase but they already know it didn't have much impact on trick-or-treating. It seems the little goblins just waited until it got dark before going out to trick-or-treat.
When my girls were little I do remember how hard it was to convince them it was time to go to bed when the sun was still shining outside. They just weren't buying my story.
Now days it doesn't matter what the reason for it is it is just nice to have more daylight hours in the summer. I enjoy having time to come home and work in the yard or just to extend the day.
Anyone struggling to adjust to the time change?

Not really, although it usually takes 2 days for my body to adjust. I've been fairly sleepy today, but I think it was because I didn't have regular coffee this morning (on my way to the lab to have blood drawn).
I admit to loving that it is still daylight now and will be for another 90 minutes or so!
Somehow when it gets dark early, I get tired early. Now I am peppy longer and being retired, mornings are pretty much the same. Like you, I never had any trouble adjusting.
Oh....now I'm another story! I'm an early morning person...used to wake up around 4:30. Waking up at the NEW 4:30 means I'm behind before I ever get out of bed. I'm STILL very confused and am beginning to wonder if I'll ever adjust.
