Well, I ran but I could not hide. The germs found me and knocked me to the ground. I've been sick and feeling miserable but a cold can only keep you down for so long. So, I'm working, coughing, blowing my nose and pushing onward.
I am so looking forward to this being my last year of working. Sometimes I think my brain has already left the building. I keep thinking about all the things I want to do when I have the time. Especially after I get my hip replacement and can walk again without hurting.
I want to join a book club, the YMCA (it seems all the classes I'm interested in are during the work day). Ron and I want to do a little traveling (as much as the budget our our health will allow). There are good things ahead.
Oh, congratulations to Arizona Governor Jan Brewer, for vetoing senate bill 1062. Finally a voice of reason from the Republican party...

Sorry you've been sick. The bugs this winter have been big brutes which gave no quarter to anyone!
I think when all the big companies stood up and said, "Vote this in and we'll go elsewhere," had a major impact on Brewer's veto. She didn't do it out of the goodness of her heart, that's for certain.
You are a "short-timer!" I remember that feeling. I hope you feel much better.
Hope your feel better soon. This has been a bad winter for illnesses. You will love retirement!
It has been a tough winter for those of us with colds - the cold seems to linger forever.
Retirement wil be here before you know it!
Hope you're feeling better soon.
Jan Brewer isn't by any means a "voice of reason." She's just an opportunist who couldn't see any way to please the Tea Party this time. She'll suffer for it, but at least the state won't go broke by losing all the sporting events and other moneymakers.
Once again I gave too much credit to a politician. I guess once again money speaks the loudest! So sad!
