Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dumb!

Well, I'm disgusted as well as many other Americans.  Politicians continue to play politics with our lives while not being personally impacted by their own games.

My son-in-law just barely got off being furloughed because of their last game of "Not It" and he's off the clock again this morning.

This game is confusing to me.  Republicans don't want Obamacare to happen so they are refusing to play and Democrats are saying they won't be bullied.  Looks like a standoff to me.  I guess it is a case of whose constituents get hungry first.  It's been my experience that as soon as some one's belt gets tightened just a little too snug they don't care who gives in first.  This is a tricky game they are playing and it could backfire on either side of the aisle.

Gosh we must look ridiculous to the rest of the world!

As an ex-pat American who has lived in Canada since the early 1970s, I shake my head at the (excuse my French) *idiots* who have taken the Republican Party, and by extension the country hostage.

The arguments against the Affordable Health Care Act are so ridiculous they defy logic. Over 100 countries worldwide, and ALL the other G-20 countries, have universal health care. It's such an economic and social benefit to any country's citizens that there is no rational argument for not providing it.

Unfortunately, the insurance companies have bought politicians with instructions to wipe out or stall implementation of the ACA as long as possible.

It makes one foam at the mouth, reading the lies they have spouted over and over again in an attempt to kill the ACA. Time to boot these guys out of their seats. They will stop at nothing, even destroying the country's economy, pursuing their insurance company masters' agenda.

I think it is entirely disgusting. I do not understand why affordable health care for all is such a major problem. THe unwillingness to work together is just stupidly dangerous.

Deb and Olga, I couldn't agree with you more. For the life of me I can't imagine why people continually shoot themselves in their own foot. It makes no sense.
