Good-bye for now
I'm at a crossroads in my life. I have exhausted all my thoughts and now just feel like a broken record. I have no time for anything except my job, taking care of my brother and my husband. This leaves me very little else to talk about. So I'm ending this blog....for how long I can't say. If I ever have anything of interest to write about again I will.

((((((Danise)))))) <<-- those are hugs!!
There are a lot of us out here who understand what you're facing.
We don't want you to feel that you have to keep us "entertained".
When I was the sole caretaker for my Mom ... no one else seemed to want the job (!!), I kept a blank book with me all the time and wrote and wrote and wrote ... You might want to try that ... if keeping a blog is starting to feel like just one more thing on the to-do list.
I don't know what your initial reasons were for starting the blog. I know you're certainly not in a place now where you ever pictured yourself ...
Make sure you lean on your family as much as you can. I know from personal experience that some families aren't that "helpful". You have to ask anyway. Your parents never wanted you to burn yourself out taking care of your brother.
Always know, that even if you don't write here, you've got "herds of us" who pray for you and stand by you and support you.
BIG HUGS.
Barb
Understandable, but you will be missed. I can only echo the thoughts above.
Thanks Barb and Olga... It has just gotten so that my world is so narrow right now and I don't want to keep talking about the same thing day after day! How boring for all! I just need to concentrate on the job at hand and who knows what may come down the road! I so appreciate the friendships that have come my way!
You will be in my thoughts. If writing helps you cope with your burden, write. If writing is a burden, then don't. Take care of yourself.
Hugs from Canada
I understand, but we will miss you. Good luck with Mike and the hubs.
I've felt that way some times too. I would recommend at least keeping a journal to get your thoughts out. That helped me when my Dad was sick.
(((hugs)))
I'll miss you!!! Good luck to you in the future, and I hope to see you somewhere down the road!!
Please write occasionally-we need to know how you all are doing. You must be so overwhelmed-take time off and have some "me" time.
I just found your blog. I am so sorry for the heaviness of your burdens and I will add you and your family to my prayers. I can see between the lines that you are also a very blessed woman.
I just ask that if you stop blogging, that you please leave this blog in place to be read by others needing to know how to respond to life's challenges as we age.
I'm sure I am not the only one who will miss you ... however I totally get were you are coming from struggling with too much myself.
Bless you!
Wow! I wasn't expecting that after the last blog seemed so positive. However, I understand the need and those that care want you to take care of yourself and your loved ones first. Get back if you can, and if ou cannot, best wishes to you.
I was looking for new blogs last night and found yours. Today I went way back to the beginning entries, the ones about aging, bucket lists, etc. They were hilarious and I totally enjoyed them.
I wish you well -- hang in there!
