I fx. my hip two years ago and it was quite a few weeks before I was even out of rehab. I do have friends who have had knee replacements and they are up and around in a short time (1 to 2 weeks)so I would imagine it would be the same. I have done the warm up exercises for Tai Chi for years & my surgeon said I could do that as soon as I was comfortable with it but be sure to keep my feet apart shoulder-width when reaching to the floor ... so I guess that is validating what your after surgery hip precautions read.Ginniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12749133391349265563noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2315622674616774363.post-51687318193073014242014-05-20T17:10:00.733-05:002014-05-20T17:10:00.733-05:00I have not had one, but I know quite a few who hav...I have not had one, but I know quite a few who have and barring complications, they are up and about soon. That part about keeping your feet at shoulder width is good for everyone, especially as you get older and have less muscle mass. The therapists have told my Jim that, many times.

Pork tenderloin is so easy. I buy them at Sam's Club; and cook according to the directions on the pkg., which is usually 425* for 20 mins. per pound. For the last 10 minutes, I pour over it a half a jar of orange marmelade and helf a jar of peach-mango salsa, that I have stirred together. It is delicious and juicy!! Let me know how you like it. kenjuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07342414519714356343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2315622674616774363.post-28737722734931588312014-05-20T15:27:56.276-05:002014-05-20T15:27:56.276-05:00Hi Dani,

She's 72 and active. The doctor told her recovery is a lot easier, less painful and quicker when you have the surgery before you break your hip, as opposed to a repair.

Hope you find that is the case too.
HUgs from CanadaDebhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14133236228952504852noreply@blogger.com
