Candid Camera

Cheesing It Up

I'm what you call camera shy!  I HATE, HATE, HATE to have my picture taken.  I always make sure I'm the one BEHIND the camera not in front of it.  I have cleverly avoided family snapshots for years and my family has tried and tried to catch me to no avail.

But, I was outwitted yesterday by my husband.  I forget that phones have cameras in them so I was not at all suspicious when my husband pointed his phone at me.  I'm not growling as it appears in the photo I was actually giving him a big cheesy smile.......... not thinking it would be caught on film.

So my streak  is over.....I have been caught.   Way to go Ron!

I see absolutely no reason for you to be camera shy. Let Ron snap away and keep us posted.

You're gonna be glad for that picture ... it shows how happy you are. That's one for the memory box.

You're a fine looking woman ... don't have any idea where that old shyness comes from.

Thumbs up to Ron for being sneaky and a photographer at the same time

That's a wonderful picture! You are lovely and you look suspiciously like any number of my cousins. I think I'm related to almost everyone in Oklahoma and Texas, so we probably are. LOL

Keep smiling. :D

As Olga said, there is NO reason that you should shy away from the camera!! It's nice to see a recent photo - looking good - and the smile is not cheesy at all.

I'm exactly the same way when it comes to pictures - but, if I was as cute as you, I might change my mind!!

On an entirely different note -
Once I made the decision to have my mom cared for in a nursing home, life was MUCH easier! She started out in assisted living, then after 7 years, went to skilled nursing. Thank goodness, she wasn't a complainer or a wanderer - she even got a boyfriend for the last few years which added a wonderful dimension to her life which she had missed terribly! Every time they were together must have been like Groundhog Day!
Tough decisions - but you'll know what to do when the time is right.
