Amazine Home Remedies

THESE REALLY WORKS!!
I checked this out on Snoops and it's for real!

 AMAZING SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES:

1. AVOID CUTTING YOURSELF WHEN SLICING VEGETABLES BY GETTING SOMEONE ELSE TO  HOLD THE VEGETABLES
  WHILE YOU CHOP.

2. AVOID ARGUMENTS WITH THE FEMALES ABOUT LIFTING THE TOILET SEAT BY USING THE SINK.

3. FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE SUFFERERS ~ SIMPLY CUT YOURSELF AND BLEED FOR A FEW MINUTES, THUS REDUCING THE PRESSURE ON YOUR VEINS. REMEMBER TO USE A TIMER

4. A MOUSE TRAP PLACED ON TOP OF YOUR ALARM CLOCK WILL PREVENT YOU FROM ROLLING OVER AND GOING BACK TO SLEEP AFTER YOU HIT THE SNOOZE BUTTON.

5. IF YOU HAVE A BAD COUGH, TAKE A LARGE DOSE OF LAXATIVES. THEN YOU'LL BE AFRAID TO COUGH.

6. YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

7. IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

DAILY THOUGHT:

SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES - NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING
A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.

Potato Prostitute
Two little potatoes are standing on the street corner. One is a prostitute.

How can you tell which one is the prostitute?

You're gonna love it...

It's the one with the little sticker that says...

I - DA - HO

Today I am 61 years old!  WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN?  Oh, that's right, TODAY!  I know it is said all the time but where the heck did the time go?  Oh well, not to complain, I'm just happy to still be here.

I've come to realize that I just don't have the time right now to keep writing.  Maybe it is the 61 year old brain that just can't do two things at once but with work and my real estate job my brain is full.  I sure have enjoyed meeting all of you and will continue to check in from time to time.  What a great bunch of ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Keep writing!  You are all so talented!

Colorado

I just got home from Colorado and it was a great trip!  The only problem I had was altitude sickness the first two days.  I felt absolutely awful but thank goodness it was short lived and I finally started feeling better.  We stayed in Colorado Springs the first night and then on to Estes Park.  The weather cooperated and we stayed just ahead of the rain the whole week.  The cool nights were apleasant relief from the 100 plus temperatures back home.  I'm trying to get laundry done and ready for work next week.  I'll post pictures of the trip in a day or two.  I did my best to avoid the camera but still got caught a few times.  Thanks a heap Gil!  I may forgive you in our lifetime.

Colorado or Bust

This is my last day of work before heading out on vacation to Colorado.  We leave Saturday morning at 4am.  I can't wait!  I haven't been on a trip for 8 years and that was to attend my daughter's Las Vegas wedding.  Right now I'm just trying to finish last minute details in the office and make sure I leave myself a detailed TO DO list for when I get back.  Our plans are to drive to Colorado Springs on Saturday then on Monday we go to Estes Park and from there to Durango and then we are driving back home through Santa Fe.  I know we are going to have a great time.

I had no idea how tired I was going to get working two jobs.  I like the work at the reality office but I don't have the stamina I had 20 years ago.  By 6:00 I'm dragging my fanny around the office and that's just a 12 hour day.  Nurses do that every day!  I don't know if I'll be able to keep this up for another 5 years or not.  We'll see!

I'll try to post after I get back from Colorado!

Message sent to rescue organization.

"MUST REHOME due to new addition to family. After two long years of being on a waiting list for a schutzhund dog, we have been notified by the breeder that, at long last, our number has come up and WE ARE HAVING A PUPPY!!!

We must get rid of our children IMMEDIATELY because we just know how time consuming our new little puppy is going to be and it just wouldn't be fair to the children. Since our little puppy will be arriving on Monday we MUST place the children this weekend!

They are described as:

One male - His name is Tommy, Caucasian (English/Irish mix), light
blonde hair, blue eyes. Four years old. Excellent disposition! He
doesn't bite, is temperament tested, does have problems with peeing
directly in the toilet. Has had Chicken Pox and is current on all
shots. Tonsils have already been removed. Tommy eats everything, is very clean, house trained & gets along well with others. Does not run with scissors and with a little training he should be able to read soon.

One female - Her name is Lexie, Caucasian (English/Irish mix),
strawberry blonde hair, green eyes quite freckled. Two years old. She can be surly at times, is a non-biter, thumb sucker. Has been
temperament tested but needs a little attitude adjusting occasionally.
She is current on all shots, tonsils out, and is very healthy & can be
affectionate. Gets along well with other little girls & little boys but
does not like to share her toys and therefore would do best in a one
child household. She is a very quick learner and is currently working
on her house training - shouldn't take long at all.

We really do LOVE our children so much and want to do what's right for them; that is why we contacted a rescue group. But we simply can nolonger keep them. Also, we are afraid that they may hurt our new puppy.

I hope you understand that ours is a UNIQUE situation and we have areal emergency here!!! They MUST be placed in rescue by Sunday night at the latest or we will be forced to drop them off at the orphanage or along some dark, country road. Our priority now has to be our new puppy."

Well, I don't know how much time I will have to bore the masses with my ramblings now.  I have taken a part-time job in the evenings working with a real estate company in town.  I'm thinking it will be something to work into after I retire from my current job.  I will be writing house ads which lets me go into all the houses for sale in town......I like that part.  At some point I may get my real estate license and try to build up a business before retiring from the hospital.  Anyway...I'll try to drop a line every now and then but may not be able to keep up.

I am going on vacation....going to Colorado Springs, Estes Park, Durango and then back through Santa Fe, New Mexico.  We leave the 17th and will be gone 7 days.   I CAN'T WAIT!  I'm going with an old high school friend since Ron is unable to take off from work.  But we should have a great time!
