When you go out in the woods today.................

Today at lunch I was sitting with two other co-workers who also have twin daughters and we were sharing battle stories from potty training to teething.  In the course of the conversation I recalled a few stories about my own girls.  When they were about 3 they were lured into the bushes by the "older man" next door, four year old Paul.  Now, I had been searching for the kids in the back yard when I suddenly saw Paul coming out of the bushes followed by my two kiddos.  I had a sneaking suspicion that there was a little show n' tell going on but my suspicions were immediately confirmed when Paul looked up at me and said, "Yep, their twins alright"!    I told Paul that if any further confirmation was required he was to come to me!!!!!

Another time my neighbor and I took our children to the lake for a picnic.  My girls were about 4 at the time and my neighbor's son was only a week younger.  Now my kids were true city girls and a little confused by the whole nature experience.  When all 3 kids needed to go to the potty my neighbor immediately escorted them to the bushes.  My girls had no idea what they were supposed to do at that point and just looked at me with blank stares when they suddenly noticed Russel taking aim on a bush.  My daughter looked at him and then at me and said very matter of factly, "Now, that's a handy thing to take on a picnic"!

A Healthcare Story
A sweet grandmother telephoned St. Joseph’s Hospital. She timidly asked, "Is it
possible to speak to someone who can tell me how a patient
is doing?"

The operator said, "I'll be glad to help, dear. What's the name and room number
of the patient?"

The grandmother in her weak, tremulous voice said, "Norma Findlay, Room
302."

The operator replied, "Let me put you on hold while I check with
the nurse's station for that room."

After a few minutes, the operator returned to the phone and said, "I have
good news. Her nurse just told me that Norma is doing well.
Her blood pressure is fine; her blood work just came back normal and her
physician, Dr. Cohen, has scheduled her to be discharged tomorrow."

The grandmother said, "Thank you.  That's wonderful. I was so worried. God bless you for the good news."

The operator replied, "You're more than welcome. Is Norma your daughter?"

The grandmother said, "No, I'm Norma Findlay in Room 302. No one tells me anything."
